Why trade on 5Mjsp?

Trading in-game money, weapons, vehicles and items for real money (RMT) puts you at risk. Here is what 5Mjsp does differently.

You hand over your details. To get paid you give a stranger your name, bank account or PayID, or your PayPal email. To pay, you send money to someone you can't check.
Those details outlive the trade. They can be used to find you, scam you, harass you, or tie your real name to your in-game character and your Discord.
The money can vanish both ways. Sellers disappear after being paid. Buyers take the item, then charge back the payment.
Nobody steps in. There is no one to ask for help, and no proof of what happened.

You trade in Forum Gold (FG), not cash. FG is the site's currency (1 FG = $1 AUD). Between players it is FG for items, so no bank details, names, PayPal or PayID ever change hands.
Other players only see your username. You choose it, and it must have nothing to do with your Discord or in-game names. Your Discord and email are never shown to other members, and server owners can't link your username to you.
Payments go to the site, not to strangers. You buy FG from 5Mjsp by card through Stripe. Other members never see your payment details, and we never see your card number.
FG can't be cashed out. Nobody can be paid out in cash, so there is no bank transfer between players to get scammed over.
Sell on one server, buy on another. Your Forum Gold works on every server on 5Mjsp. Sell something on one server and spend the FG on what you want on a different server, or the other way around. Value moves between servers without anyone sending real money to a stranger.
One account per person. Every account is tied to one Discord account (verified email, at least 30 days old). A banned scammer can't simply come back with a new name.
Ratings you can trust. Only the two people in a finished escrow of at least 10.00 FG can rate each other, so reviews can't be faked, and a bad rating can be disputed with proof.

The buyer pays the price plus a 5% fee. Their FG is held, not sent.
The seller hands over the items. The buyer confirms, and only then is the seller paid.
If something goes wrong, either side can open a dispute. Both submit recordings (at least 3 minutes), and an admin decides: pay the seller or refund the buyer.
Escrows never expire, so nobody can run out the clock.

Escrow only protects trades that go through it. If you trade outside escrow, the risk is yours. Use escrow for anything you can't afford to lose.
Record every trade. No video, no help. Without a recording of the whole trade, staff cannot decide a dispute.
Anonymous to other players, not to staff. Site staff can see which Discord belongs to a username. That is how we ban scammers, and we say so when you sign up.
Forum Gold sales are final. No refunds and no cash-out. Read the purchase agreement and the rules.
